In Castlefield, Manchester we are delighted to have been awarded the brickworks and associated works on the third phase of the contemporary Potato Wharf development, working for main contractor Lend Lease Residential.
We will be making a start on the masonry in mid July 2020 on buildings 3 and 4 which will be built in conjunction with each other, and both finishing around the same time.
The distinctive coloured Aston smooth blue brickwork is a key part of the building’s aesthetic there are approx. 450,000 bricks in the two buildings, and following on from previous phases offers a prime location for hi spec residential apartments in the heart of Manchester,
Our team of up to around 24 personnel expect to be finished in August 2021, and we will be using a variety of different specialists within our team for the various elements involved including, masonry support, insulation and channel, Brick clad lintels and quality bricklayers to ensure our work will be of the highest standards, to match the expectations of these high-spec residential apartments.
The total value of the project will be approx. £2.5m and for McCrory, this is another project we will be proud to add to our successful portfolio of projects we’ve undertaken for Lend Lease Residential.”
