Phase One Complete

After three years of working on the Copper Beeches in Holywell we are now very proud to announce that we have successfully completed Phase One.

As a grade two listed building we have had to overcome various obstacles in order to complete the build whilst also preserving the important historical features the building has. Completing phase one required constructing and converting one whole side of the site plus the now renovated Chapel. The site was originally a Victorian workhouse then in 1838 it was turned into the Lluesty Hospital. The development then went through several changes until 2008 when the building was abandoned following the opening of the new Holywell Community Hospital.

After ten years of being abandoned, in 2018 McCrory Holdings took on the project and task of restoring the historical building. With a vision in place, we have turned the derelict building into luxury homes where members of the community can live and new families can thrive.

From 2018 onwards, our team has worked hard to meet all of the important requirements set out by the local council and heritage department when delivering these luxury homes to the public. Whilst the build isn’t fully complete, phase one which includes 19 homes have now been finished and we are starting to hand over the keys to our new homeowners.

With Phase One now completed, we turn our focus to welcoming new homeowners and completing our second phase which consist of 9 more luxury dwellings.
