MEDCD is part of Manchester University’s overall £1bn campus masterplan, and will be the single-biggest home for engineering in any UK university. Once complete, in 2021, the city centre campus will host up to 7,000 students and 1,300 staff.

McCrory Brickwork were involved in the project in two phases: Phase 1 included the internal blockwork to the MEC Hall North and South Basements. Whilst Phase 2 included the external brickwork and internal blockwork to 3 nr buildings, Upper Brook Street, York Street Building and the grade 2 listed Odd Fellows Hall where we were responsible for the construction of the External Brick and Blockwork Cavity walls.
