University of Liverpool Construction Company are the main contractor for the new Arts & Humanities Centre at the University of Liverpool. The centre will be open for public performances and will be a unique creative space for the city.
The centre’s highlight is a new, acoustic performance focused, 400-seat performance auditorium. Alongside the auditorium, the building will include two lecture theatres with up to 600 seats, study spaces, cafeterias, outdoor seating and more seminar facilities.
McCrory Brickwork are responsible for the external brickwork, internal blockwork, masonry support and external scaffolding . The building has feature brickwork curves in a Flemish bond with protruding headers and alternating projecting brick courses. The Ancon Nexus system has been used above feature glazing, windows and main entrance soffit.
